Roadcut is free to read. When you book a car, stay, tour, ferry, eSIM or insurance through our links, our travel partners pay us a commission — at no extra cost to you. We only work with services we'd genuinely use on our own trips, and recommendations are chosen for you, not for the commission. Our partners include Discover Cars (car rental), Booking.com & PaulCamper (stays & campervans), GetYourGuide (tours & tickets), Direct Ferries, Airalo (eSIM) and Heymondo (travel insurance). Every affiliate link is marked — that's how we keep the guides free and independent.

How we choose partners

We link to services we would book ourselves on the same trip. A partner that would not survive an honest review does not go on this list.

Some of these links earn us a commission when you book through them. It never changes your price, and it never changes what we recommend — the route is written first, the links go in afterwards.

Some entries below earn us nothing at all. They are here because the question they answer is a real one, and leaving a reader stuck to protect a commission would be the wrong trade.

Commission rates and cookie windows differ by partner and change over time. Where a link earns nothing today, it is either a service with no affiliate programme or one we have not been approved for yet.
